It was.

I had a hose break near my water pump and timing belt. This is a $800-1000 repair right when I can least afford it.

Just like all those adverts for serums and shampoos and shit that tell us that we don’t have to SUFFER with curly hair any more, because it can be banished by their special magic gunk.

The curly hair thing is a very minor issue compared to this whole “uncivilised” bullshit that Nivea have going on, (I wonder whether the guy in the ad knew how it was going to be captioned when he shot it?) I just wanted to vent because my friend and I had a very enthusiastic discussion about the curly-hair-hatred thing not long ago.

I really can’t wait to see this. I completely adore Anne Hathaway as it is, but I just love it when she sings.

Did they ever actually say what she looks like? It’s been a while since I read the book and all I can remember is that she’s muscular, has dark eyes and spiky hair.
